Below are some things ladies should remember on a ride.
- Tissue -Running nose and rest stop.
- Cell phone- Always a phone call away.
- First Aid Kit -Safety first.
- Water – Always needed.
- Energy bars. Sometimes you never how long your ride will be.
- Maps & GPS- Local maps are a necessity.Of course the GPS is an added bonus.
- Winter Hat- Stops and getting stuck requires you to take off your helmet, staying warm is key.
- An extra pair of gloves – Sometimes gloves get wet, or you loose one.
- Tow rope ‚ Ah sometimes you need a tow.
- Belt -All sleds should have an extra belt.
- Tool kit usually comes with sled.
- Shovel- gets you out of trouble fast.
Well this is most likely more then most people would bring with them. These items are what I usually bring to assure a fun, worry free, and comfortable ride. I been using a shovel that has retractable handle, and a saw blade on the end. This helps if a ski is stuck under a fallen tree branch or limb. The shovel is useful for shoveling snow from the buried track or skies. The retractable blade helps you cut the shrub branches out of track or from the front of your path. Sometimes turning around on the trail you can get stuck in the bushes or dive a ski off the side under a branch. Good tool to have
