I’m not sure if I went for the party or the race.

It was many years ago when the Stimilon crew lured me into entering my first motto race. I ended up racing all day in the Hack class and getting f-ed up all night. Great bunch of guys (the hack class) just really bad riders, not excluding myself. Well, I guess that was the point. Get a bunch of guys together who don”t race motto cross, or never even twisted the throttle on a track, and have a day of racing. Lets not forget the crazy party afterward!

That year the event was held at Jolly Roger Race track in New Hampshire, this year (2009) it’’s going to be at the legendary Southwick MX 338, in MA. I can’t say much for the racing in my class and won’t speak for the other two guys I was trying to beat for last place. I do know that the drinking, something I do well, was second to none. (I think??)

When I heard that Stimilon was at it again, I took some hard earned cash and threw down on a bike. I entered the 10-year anniversary event a few weeks ago and its finally here. From what I hear its gonna be a hell of a party at a hell of a track. Hope to see you yahoos at the starting line and, ya I”m still a Hack!!’, ‘Stimilon -2009 Southwick
